Safety at Sea
An emergency wetsuit is for situations where you might unexpectedly find yourself in water, such as during an unexpected immersion or a boating accident. It helps maintain body warmth in cold water, reducing the risk of hypothermia and improving chances of survival until help arrives. On contact with the water, dye is released to present a larger target for rescuers.
There are two primary objectives of Life-Suit, to mark the water surface in your surrounding area, and to give you way to trap the heat within the confines of the suit. The suit accomplishes this by using a thin layer of low density polyethylene that acts as a barrier from current, and limits contact with bacteria in the water as well as fuels and chemicals from boating accidents, all well containing 30% of your body heat inside the suit.
The marking dye, is a fluorescent dye that expands to large target for aircraft’s, and other rescue boats in the area.
